The futuremap® workshops, held alongside NMW and Austech, aim to encourage manufacturing SMEs to take advantage of the digital technologies that are driving future manufacturing opportunities, business models, products and services. By shining a spotlight on leadership, strategy, innovation and digital manufacturing (Industry 4.0), David Chuter, CEO, Innovative Manufacturing CRC intends to inspire workshop attendees to think differently about the strategies needed to realise opportunities and to manage challenges brought about by an increasingly digitalised world and the fourth industrial revolution.
The two futuremap® workshops are held in collaboration with the Entrepreneurs’ Programme, AMTIL and the Geelong Manufacturing Council.
