National Manufacturing Week, Austech and the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre collaborated to deliver a conference program with an impressive line-up of industry speakers.

The conference program, divided into Industry 4.0 Theatre and Connected Manufacturing Theatre, featured more than 90 expert speakers who shared exclusive insights into the latest development of the manufacturing sector.

Industry 4.0 Theatre

The Industry 4.0 Theatre program offered attendees the latest research and expert opinion on the future impact of Industry 4.0 on their businesses.

Expert speakers discussed advanced processes, designs and technologies that will help local manufacturers stay ahead of the game.

Connected Manufacturing Theatre

The Connected Manufacturing Theatre program focused on business management, design and industrial safety.

National Manufacturing Week's 20th Anniversary Celebration

National Manufacturing Week celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Networking Event on the evening of Wednesday, 15 May 2019. The event gave an opportunity to network, exchange ideas, form business relationships and work together on key industry challenges.

Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards Gala

The 2019 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards celebrated manufacturing companies and individuals who excel in business innovation and productivity and contribute to strengthening Victoria’s economy. The winners were announced on Tuesday, 14 May at the Atlantic Peninsula at Docklands.

Welding & Mechatronics Competition

WorldSkills Australia held their regional welding and mechatronics competition at NMW.  WorldSkills have been empowering excellence in young Australians since 1981 through their vocational education and training.

Advanced Welder Training Hub

Weld Australia's Advanced Welder Training Hub on the exhibition floor showcased the augmented and virtual reality technology that is revolutionising welder training here in Australia and around the world.

Free tours organised by the IMCRC

The Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC) organised site tours to Swinburne University's Factory of the Future and RMIT's Advanced Manufacturing Precinct for manufacturers willing to transform their business. 

Endeavour Awards

The Endeavour Awards, presented annually by Manufacturers’ Monthly was held on Thursday, 16 MayRecognised as the premier manufacturing Awards program, the event was a chance to celebrate the many successes within the industry.

futuremap® Workshops

This year's futuremap® workshops, held alongside NMW and Austech, encouraged manufacturing SMEs to take advantage of the digital technologies that are driving future manufacturing opportunities, business models, products and services.

Manufacturing Academy

The Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre launched its new online platform the "Manufacturing Academy" which delivers exclusive industry insights from Australia's leading manufacturers on how to increase competitiveness.
