National Manufacturing Week, Austech and the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre are collaborating to deliver a conference program with an impressive line-up of industry speakers.

The conference program, divided into Industry 4.0 Theatre and Connected Manufacturing Theatre, will feature more than 90 expert speakers who will share exclusive insights into the latest development of the manufacturing sector.

Industry 4.0 Theatre

The Industry 4.0 Theatre program offers attendees the latest research and expert opinion on the future impact of Industry 4.0 on their businesses.

Expert speakers will discuss advanced processes, designs and technologies that will help local manufacturers stay ahead of the game.

Connected Manufacturing Theatre

The Connected Manufacturing Theatre program focuses on business management, design and industrial safety.

Come and celebrate National Manufacturing Week’s 20th anniversary at the Networking Event on the evening of Wednesday, 15 May 2019. Network with and learn from your peers to exchange ideas, form business relationships and work together on key industry challenges.

Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards Gala

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards celebrates manufacturing companies and individuals who excel in business innovation and productivity and contribute to strengthening Victoria’s economy. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, 14 May at the Atlantic Peninsula at Docklands.

Welding & Mechatronics Competition

WorldSkills Australia will hold their regional welding and mechatronics competition at NMW. They have been empowering excellence in young Australians since 1981, by promoting and building a skills culture and showcasing vocational education and training.

Advanced Welder Training Hub

Weld Australia will have an Advanced Welder Training Hub on the exhibition floor which will showcase the augmented and virtual reality technology that is revolutionising welder training here in Australia and around the world.

Free tours organised by the IMCRC

The Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC) has organised site tours to Swinburne University's Factory of the Future and RMIT's Advanced Manufacturing Precinct for manufacturers willing to transform their business. Limited slots are available.

Endeavour Awards

The Endeavour Awards are presented annually by Manufacturers’ Monthly. Recognised as the premier manufacturing Awards program, it is a chance to celebrate the many successes within the industry. It will be held on Thursday, 16 May.
