Among highlights of the seminar program will be a presentation by UNSW's Professor Gangadhara Prusty, Director of the ARC Training Centre for Automated Manufacture of Advanced Composites

Professor Prusty will be introducing The Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Automated Manufacture of Advanced Composites (AMAC). The UNSW led AMAC Centre established under the Industrial Transformation Research Program (ITRP) of Australian Government is a collaboration between Australian National University (ANU), Technical University of Munich (TUM) and nine other industry partners. The objective of the Centre is to develop innovative research and train next generation of engineers to achieve a step change in productivity and quality for advanced composite manufacturing in high-tech industry sectors. AMAC works closely with its industry partners to explore, develop and mature automated composite manufacturing innovations specific to their needs through the use of its multi-disciplinary research platform. The outcome will be world-class Australian capability to create high-value, high-performance composites using high-rate, error-free processes.

Professor Prusty will also present on a variety of industry driven research projects that span across numerous industries that the Centre is currently undertaking. This conference session gives you the unique forum to hear about developments in the area of automated manufacturing of composites that is changing the global manufacturing landscape.
