RF signal hunter to be launched at NMW 2008

A handheld, digital radio frequency signal hunter for the surveillance and security market will be introduced by TekMark Australia on Stand 2108 during National Manufacturing Week at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from May 27 to 30.

The Tektronix H600 RFHawk is designed to quickly and effectively identify and locate illegitimate analog and digital radio frequency (RF) transmission sources.

The battery-operated unit, which is designed specifically for field operations, combines high performance RF measurement with advanced signal classification and location tools.

"This rugged unit provides field-proven signal hunting, mapping and documentation tools and offers unparalleled performance for rapidly targeting illegitimate signals that may be used for disruptive, illegal purposes,” TekMark representative Mark Fisher said.

Other NMW 2008 product highlights from TekMark will include:

  • ABI Electronics BoardMaster 8000 Plus universal diagnostic system for fault-finding on almost any printed circuit board
  • ABI Electronics CircuitMaster 4000M precision active oscilloscope which incorporates precision DC measurement, signal storage and analysis functions for safely probing closely placed components
