New cost-effective Industrial data logger, expandable to 600 isolated inputs, at NMW 2008

14/04/2008
Datataker will display a new industrial data logger – which can be expanded to monitor up to 600 isolated inputs – on Stand 3906 during National Manufacturing Week at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from May 27 to 30.

The DT85 Series 2 data logger is the most powerful data logger to be released by Melbourne-based Datataker which, over the past two decades, has become a leading international provider of data logging, recording and data acquisition systems.

The DT85 Series 2 uses cost-effective channel expansion modules to increase logging capacity. It also has advanced communication features such as USB memory stick support, Modbus for SCADS, Ethernet, Web, FTP and multiple SDI-12 sensor networks.

It is designed to monitor production factors such as temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, serial and calculated measurements.

It connects easily to most sensors and accommodates data storage of up to five million data points which can be logged, archived, copied or transferred as required.

The new model joins the Datataker DT85 and DT80 models, which have been installed in diverse applications ranging from monitoring and controlling a furnace system to identifying a fault in the molten glass process of bottle manufacturing.
